Peak pushed Maintenance Patch 1.32.a after a server failure last week, moving players back off the beta branch and onto the main servers. The update resolves the outage and includes a small, amusing bugfix.
The studio noted the outage in the Steam announcement, saying they ran the game from the beta branch over the weekend while they sorted the problem. The patch returns the game to normal operation, so you should be able to join without using the beta branch.
