Path of Exile 2’s gamescom 2026 Booth Welcomed More Than 9,000 Attendees

The five-day Cologne event also brought 120 media members and creators to the developer's booth ahead of Path of Exile 2's scheduled Dec. 11 full release.

More than 9,000 people visited the Path of Exile 2 booth during five days at gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany. Grinding Gear Games also welcomed 120 media members and creators as it presented the game ahead of its full release.

Grinding Gear Games shared the totals in a Steam announcement that thanked attendees for supporting the booth. The Cologne appearance gave visitors an early look at the version planned for launch before the game’s Early Access period ends.

Path of Exile 2‘s full release is scheduled for Dec. 11, 2026. The game will leave Early Access and become free-to-play across all platforms on that date, with the Duelist also arriving at launch, as detailed in our full release coverage.
