SCS Software will bring Euro Truck Simulator 2 and several upcoming projects to Gamescom 2026 in Cologne. The studio shared the plan in a Steam announcement, confirming that its largest Gamescom booth yet will run from August 26 through August 30, 2026.
Visitors will find SCS Software in the Entertainment Halls at Hall 10.1, Booth B022-C023. The booth will give attendees a chance to try preview builds and meet members of the team in person.
Playable previews for SCS Software’s upcoming projects
The main attraction for Euro Truck Simulator 2 players will be a playable preview of the upcoming Iceland DLC. SCS Software also plans to show British Columbia and South Dakota, two upcoming map expansions for American Truck Simulator.
The studio is also working to bring playable demonstrations of its Road Trip project and the Coaches project for Euro Truck Simulator 2. SCS has not promised that either demonstration will be ready, but the team hopes visitors will get an early hands-on look at both additions.
That gives the booth plenty of variety, from Iceland’s upcoming routes to new American Truck Simulator regions and the passenger-focused Coaches project. The previews will offer a closer look at content that has not yet reached a full release.
Thrustmaster, Volvo, and the returning motion simulator
Thrustmaster will equip the booth with a brand-new product that attendees will be able to test. The announcement does not identify the product yet, leaving that reveal for a later date.
Volvo Trucks is also helping SCS prepare a special display. Details are being kept private for now, but the studio said the booth will feature something exclusive from Volvo for truck fans to see up close. SCS is working with Thrustmaster and Volvo Trucks on the Gamescom presentation.
The studio’s 4D motion simulator will return as well, giving visitors a chance to experience truck driving with added motion effects. It should be a fitting way to finish a day spent checking out the new maps and driving projects.
