Path of Exile 2 players can register now for at least 1 exclusive microtransaction reward before the game’s full release. If the community reaches all 4 registration milestones, everyone who successfully registers will receive 5 rewards in total. Grinding Gear Games previously announced that the December 11 full release date will be the starting point for reward code distribution.
The studio explained the promotion’s rules in its Steam announcement. Here is what players need to know before signing up.
How to register for the reward
The process only takes an email address and confirmation. Players can complete it through the Path of Exile 2 registration page.
- Enter an email address you can access.
- Open the confirmation email and confirm the subscription.
- Wait until after December 11, 2026, when the full release arrives and code distribution begins.
- Redeem the microtransaction code on the Path of Exile website.
The email used for registration does not need to be the same address connected to your Path of Exile account. However, anyone without an existing account will need to create one before redeeming a code.
New and existing players can participate
This promotion is open to both new and existing players. It is also available across eligible platforms, including Steam, Epic, PlayStation, and Xbox. Players should make sure their Path of Exile account is linked to the correct platform through the account connections page before trying to claim the reward.
The account used for redemption does not have to belong to the person who registered. Grinding Gear Games says a code can be sent to a friend, and that friend can activate it on any valid Path of Exile account.
How the 5 reward total works
Every successful registration qualifies for at least 1 microtransaction. Four community milestones can unlock 4 more rewards, bringing the total to 5 if all milestones are reached. The reward track displays thresholds at 1M, 2M, 3M, and 4M registrations.
The five displayed rewards are the Soulflame Crown Helmet Attachment, Soulflame Weapon Effect, Soulflame Portal, Chained Chimera Wings, and Scourgeborn Boar Pet. These items are exclusive to the promotion and will not be sold in the store.
Code limits and delivery timing
Each code can be redeemed only once, so it cannot be used on multiple accounts. Accounts are also limited to 1 code. That means players who receive more than one code cannot stack them on the same account, but they may give an extra code to someone else.
Grinding Gear Games will begin sending the codes after Path of Exile 2 fully launches on December 11. The studio will announce when distribution is finished. If the code still cannot be found after that announcement, players should contact the customer support page.
What registration emails will include
Subscribers will receive several messages about ExileCon announcements and important information connected to the 1.0 release. Grinding Gear Games says the promotion will not result in daily spam.
The registration email will be shared with Brevo, which the studio identifies as its third-party data processor. It says the address will be used for Path of Exile-related updates. The studio’s third-party information page contains the broader list of outside companies it works with.
Players can unsubscribe at any time, but unsubscribing before reward distribution begins means the code cannot be sent. If you want the reward, keep the subscription active until the emails go out.
