Owlcat adds a tech-priest and a Catachan guardsman to its 40K roster

The new companions are coming to Rogue Trader's Infinite Museion DLC and the playable alpha for Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy.

Owlcat has shown off two new Warhammer 40,000 companions, with one heading to Rogue Trader and the other arriving in the playable alpha for Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy.

The Rogue Trader addition is Eogann Februs, a tech priest who will join the game through the Infinite Museion DLC. Owlcat has already leaned into the role with a character trailer focused on the new companion.

On the Dark Heresy side, Haymar Devos appears in the alpha as a guardsman from Catachan, the death world known in Warhammer lore for turning out the sort of soldiers who look ready for a knife fight in a jungle. The new trailer introduces him before the full game itself arrives.

The Dark Heresy store page still lists the game as coming soon on Steam, while the new Rogue Trader DLC remains on the way as well. If you’re keeping up with Owlcat’s 40K plans, this is another reminder that both projects are still filling out their crews one companion at a time.
