Hello, fellow gamers! It’s always a joy to dive into the latest updates from our favorite games, and today, I have something particularly delightful to share with you about Once Human. The developers are rolling out the Scenario Sign-up System 2.0, which promises to make your scenario experiences smoother and more engaging. Let’s explore these fresh features together!
An Overview of the Update
The Scenario Sign-up System 2.0 will go live after the November 21 update, building on player feedback gathered since launch. This update introduces several new functionalities that streamline how you sign up for scenarios within the game.
Advance Registration
The first Major addition is the Advance Registration. Here’s how it works:
- You can now register in advance for specific scenarios you’d like to play.
- This process consists of two phases: a registration period followed by a lock-in period. Once registration closes, players will be locked in for that round.
- The servers will then launch based on the player numbers signed up during this period. Exciting, isn’t it?
- If you change your mind within the last 24 hours before server opening (the lock-in), you’ll lose that spot. But don’t worry – if you miss out, there’s always next time!
- If waiting isn’t your style, feel free to join any open scenario servers right away!
Faction Scenario Sign-up
The next innovation is aimed at faction-based scenarios like Prismverse’s Clash:
- You’ll need to select a faction when signing up, or let the system assign one for you.
- The opening of servers will depend on player participation and faction balance, so rally your friends!
- If conditions aren’t met at first? No worries! The scenario may experience a slight delay but rest assured it will open eventually.
Team Sign-up Feature
This new feature allows players to come together more effectively:
- You can invite friends and form teams before signing up for scenarios.
- A great perk here is that all team members will be placed on the same server, and even in the same faction if applicable!
Scenario Co-Dev Initiatives
This update also emphasizes collaboration between developers and players:
-
- The development team plans to roll out regular in-game surveys aimed at collecting player feedback about various scenarios.
- If certain scenarios receive low ratings or lack participants, there might be temporary take-downs while optimizations are made, ensuring only high-quality experiences remain available!
