NBA 2K27’s Opening Playlist Mixes J. Cole, The Killers, and New York Hip-Hop

NBA 2K27 will launch with a soundtrack spanning multiple genres and generations, including music from J. Cole and The Killers. The lineup was detailed in a Steam announcement focused on the game’s 2K Beats soundtrack.
The music will continue to grow throughout the year. New songs will arrive with each Season, with the selections curated by basketball players, musicians, and producers.
Season 1 puts New York hip-hop in the spotlight
The first Season will celebrate New York’s hip-hop scene with tracks from Mos Def, Mary J. Blige, A Tribe Called Quest, and more. It gives the opening playlist a strong city-focused identity before later Seasons add more music.
The official NBA 2K27 soundtrack is available to stream through Spotify and Apple Music.
