Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024’s National Championship Air Races panel is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 16, at 1800 UTC, with five pilots representing the event’s five race classes. The October 15 weekly briefing says the discussion will stream on the simulator’s official Twitch and YouTube channels.
Community Manager Chris “SeedyL” Levesque will host, and YouTube creator Cow Town will join the conversation. The pilot lineup covers each class:
- Tammy Camilleri, Jet Class, Miss Independance
- Rod Hewitt, STOL Drag Class, Angry Kitten
- Steven Hinton Jr., Unlimited Class, Bardahl Special
- Greg McNeely, T-6 Class, with the aircraft entry marked “Undecided”
- Tommy Suell, Biplane Class, Shake N Bake
The panel follows the air-racing mode’s arrival with Sim Update 7 on Oct. 13. The briefing also says the Marketplace update post for the week of Oct. 12 will be published Friday, Oct. 16. Its delay will not affect product releases.
