Meta Horizon+ subscribers have a new way to play Xbox games. Starting July 21, eligible members in supported regions receive the starter edition of Xbox Game Pass where available, with access to more than 50 games, 10 hours of cloud gaming each month, and Rewards for playing.
Xbox announced the new benefit in its Game Pass and Meta Horizon+ announcement. The companies already offer Xbox and Game Pass access on Meta Quest devices, and this new perk gives Horizon+ subscribers another way to find something to play.
What Games Are Included?
The starter edition library covers a mix of big releases and smaller multiplayer favorites. Available examples include Bethesda Softworks’ post-apocalyptic RPGs Fallout 4 and Fallout 76, Ghost Town Games’ chaotic cooking game Overcooked 2, and Obsidian Entertainment’s backyard survival adventure Grounded.
The lineup also includes Bohemia Interactive’s multiplayer zombie game DayZ, the co-op first-person shooter Deep Rock Galactic, and the off-road truck simulator SnowRunner. That gives subscribers plenty of choices, whether they want to cook with friends, battle through a hostile world, or take a very large truck somewhere it probably should not go.
Meta Horizon+ Pricing
Meta Horizon+ costs $59.99 USD per year or $7.99 USD per month. Meta’s details on the Xbox Game Pass benefit explain that the offer is limited to eligible subscribers in supported regions.
