Marvel Tokon’s roster grows with Hulk and Black Panther
Sony and Arc System Works also laid out Shuri's Black Panther, the Queen of Wakanda stage, and how Champion fits into the game's story.

Sony and Arc System Works have added Hulk and Black Panther to Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, the PS5 and PC brawler that is still building out its launch lineup. The new trailer puts the Fighting Avengers front and center with Captain America and Iron Man already in place.
The roster has been growing steadily since closed beta sign-ups opened for the Arc System Works brawler, and Hulk looks like the kind of character who wants the whole screen to feel his presence. He uses a Gamma Gauge that boosts his strength and speed when it fills up, and his backstory has him exiled to the Savage Lands after the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. blamed him for his instability.
Black Panther is Shuri in Marvel Tokon, and her version leans on speed, reach, and sharp movement. She carries the Spear of Bashenga, can dash in multiple directions with Bast’s Blessing, and comes with the Queen of Wakanda as a new stage.
PlayStation’s blog post at PlayStation Blog also filled in more of the setup behind the tournament. Champion, an Elder of the Universe aided by his companion Promoter, has come to Earth looking for a worthy combatant, which forces the planet’s strongest fighters into the mix.
Tokon still has two more teams to reveal, led by Ghost Rider and Doctor Doom. With these additions, 14 characters have been shown so far, six more are still to come, and the full launch roster will reach 20 fighters. Arc System Works and Sony also plan four extra characters in the first year after release.
Marvel Tokon is still filling out its launch roster, and the new trailer makes the next wave feel clearer. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram.
