Marvel Rivals is fixing Black Cat and Blade before the May 7 patch lands
The update is scheduled for 09:00 UTC on May 7, and the new Winter Soldier and Venom bundles arrive in the store on May 8 at 02:00 UTC.

Marvel Rivals’ Version 20260507 patch will go live on May 7, 2026 at 09:00 UTC, and NetEase says there will be no server downtime. The store will also pick up a new batch of cosmetics on May 8 at 02:00 UTC, including the Winter Soldier – Starlit Gunslinger Bundle and the Venom – War of The Realms Bundle.
The biggest fixes land on Black Cat, a slow-fall landing bug, a rare Klyntar map issue, and a Blood Hunt matchmaking problem tied to Hero Selection. Blade also gets a clean-up pass for the Silver Soulbreaker sound effects.

Fixes and Optimizations
Heroes
1. Black Cat’s Base-Camp Bad Luck: Fixed an issue where using the Tablet of Destinies inside the spawn room wouldn’t properly accumulate her Fortune. The world’s greatest cat burglar can now gamba wherever she wants. (Because honestly, what’s a heist without a little RNG?)
2. Stuck the Superhero Landing: Addressed a bug where heroes in a slow-fall state, if struck by a knockdown ability, might fail to properly end their landing animation. We know superhero landings are notoriously tough on the knees, but you won’t be permanently stuck crouching anymore!
Maps
1. Klyntar’s Clingy Catastrophe: Resolved a rare bug where Black Cat could become stuck after using her Ring of Zona portal on the Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface map. The symbiotes were getting a little too attached; Felicia is now free to prowl!
Blood Hunt
1. Rally Point Rescue: Fixed a matchmaking glitch where a teammate quitting during the Hero Selection phase could cause the Rally Point to fail to gather all the remaining players. Time waits for no one. Rapid deployment will now flawlessly commence!
2. Blade’s Sonic Boom: Fixed an issue where the firing sound effects for Blade’s Silver Soulbreaker build’s Exorcism Round (Right-Click) would abnormally trigger a massive number of times in certain combat situations. Blade loves going loud on vamps, but we’ve turned the volume down to save your eardrums.
The Marvel Rivals universe is ever-evolving, and we have plenty more surprises and updates on the horizon. Stay tuned to our official announcements for more!
