Manor Lords Beta 0.8.097–0.8.100 Adds Livestock and Trading Fixes Ahead of Its Planned August Exit

Slavic Magic is finishing translations and preparing to move the update out of beta by the end of August.

Manor Lords‘ latest beta build is ready with a large batch of fixes covering livestock, trading, construction, user interface issues, crashes, and more. In its latest Steam announcement, Slavic Magic said it is finishing translations and preparing to move the update out of beta by the end of August.

The changelog covers versions 0.8.097–0.8.100. Among the biggest changes are revised animal production rules, better Ox Cart behavior around Construction Yards, improved Exporting Trader target selection, new controller support, and fixes for several problems affecting Wide Valley, Deep Mines, taverns, and saved games.

The new pass follows the earlier 0.8.097 beta build, which added the Wide Valley map and expanded Manor Lords’ settlement-management systems.

How to access the Manor Lords beta

Back up your saved files before switching branches. Slavic Magic also recommends removing mods, since they will most likely cause crashes in the beta.

  2. Choose Properties, then open the BETAS tab.
  3. Enter the password veryNiceBasket.
  4. Select pre_release from the beta participation menu.
  5. Wait for the files to download. Restart the Steam client if the update does not begin.
  6. Launch the game after the update finishes.

Players can send feedback through the Steam forum or submit bug reports.
