Two new leaked videos for Battlefield 6 have emerged from the latest playtest. They reveal a new urban map named Gibraltar. While the quality of these leaks is not excellent, they still provide some interesting insights into what players can expect.
The Gibraltar map is described as small and features background scenery that aligns closely with the game’s concept art. Players can destroy buildings and various objects within this environment, which adds a layer of tactical gameplay.
Though the leaked videos don’t showcase anything particularly innovative, those who love all things Battlefield might find them worth checking out. Expect to see familiar mechanics powered by the Frostbite Engine, which promises an impressive destruction system reminiscent of BF2: Bad Company, a nostalgic touch many fans will appreciate.
DICE appears to be listening to player feedback after Battlefield 2042‘s controversial reception around its Operator system; they’re bringing back class systems in this installment. This change has the potential to be a big win for long-time fans.
EA has yet to officially announce this new title. It will remain under the working name Battlefield 6 until we hear something different. There are currently no details on when we could expect its release, either; speculation suggests late 2025, though some believe it might slip into 2026.
The previous leaked videos remain online as of now, but there’s always a risk that EA will take them down, given that this latest reveal includes new content. If you’re interested in watching, head over and check them out below!
