League Classic Will Add 4 More Champions on September 23

League Classic will add Fizz, Graves, Nami, and Nautilus on September 23, giving Riot Games’ retro League of Legends mode its next champion batch. All four champions are already playable on the PBE before the update arrives.

The new group follows the five Demacian champions added in Patch 26.18, including Fiora, Galio, Poppy, Shyvana, and Xin Zhao. Riot is presenting the incoming champions as a Bilgewater-themed pack, although Graves is the only one whose Classic kit differs greatly from his modern version.

Graves brings back his older kit

Classic Graves uses True Grit to gain stacking Armor and Magic Resist while he remains in combat. Buckshot fires three bullets in a cone, Smoke Screen deals magic damage while reducing enemy sight, and Quickdraw lets Graves dash forward while increasing his Attack Speed. His Collateral Damage ultimate fires an explosive shell that ends in a damaging cone.

The setup should feel notably different from the Graves used in current League of Legends. His Classic abilities focus on close-range shotgun damage, temporary defenses, and movement during extended fights.

Fizz, Nami, and Nautilus join the roster

Fizz returns with Nimble Fighter, which reduces damage from basic attacks and lets him move through units. Urchin Strike adds a dash that can trigger on-hit effects, while Seastone Trident applies damage over time and can reduce incoming healing. Playful / Trickster makes Fizz untargetable during its leap, and Chum the Waters can attach to an enemy before a shark erupts beneath the target.

Nami’s Classic abilities support her team with movement speed, healing, attack enhancements, and crowd control. Aqua Prison stuns enemies, Ebb and Flow bounces between allies and enemies, Tidecaller’s Blessing empowers an ally’s attacks, and Tidal Wave knocks up and slows enemies along its path.

Nautilus brings his familiar initiation tools to the mode. Staggering Blow roots targets after his first attack, Dredge Line pulls Nautilus and an enemy together, and Titan’s Wrath gives him a shield while adding damage to his attacks. Riptide creates three slowing explosions, while Depth Charge chases an enemy champion and knocks up other targets caught in the shockwave.

Release date for the next Classic champion batch

Fizz, Graves, Nami, and Nautilus are scheduled to leave the PBE and join League Classic on September 23. Riot has not provided a release time for the update, so availability may depend on the game’s regional rollout.
