The latest Marvel’s Spider-Man PC update fixes pltny of issues, updates AMD FSR to Version 2.1.1, but also provides an option to connect to PSN. This option allows players to link their Steam with PlayStation Network accounts, granting access to the Resilient Suit and Concussive Blast Gadget. Without further ado, let’s take a look at what exactly is changed.
Thanks to player feedback, the developers have identified a performance degradation issue that could occur on some hardware configurations when ray tracing is enabled. This was caused by allocation contention between the various tasks associated with rendering rays in-game, including shadows and reflections – which can all take up valuable resources like memory or processing power, respectively – sometimes leading to stuttering after playing for a while.
Furthermore, Intel XeSS, Intel’s supersampling technology, is now available in the Display Settings. This technology works similarly to Nvidia’s DLSS and AMD’s FSR, but the difference is that it supports Graphics Cards from multiple vendors as well.
