Insider States Elden Ring Might be Close to Reveal

FromSoftware’s Elden Ring is close to revealing, according to an insider. Even though rumors have been whirling that game is most likely to skip E3 2021, the company might be favoring an independent reveal. Elden Ring is an upcoming action role-playing game planned to surprise the gaming world with its dark fantasy elements.

Over on ResetEra, a guy named Omnipotent, known and renowned for his previous statements on FromSoftware titles that seemingly turned out to be true, has posted a picture with the “Praise the Sun” pose and the Elden Ring symbol. All of the contents are in a rear-view car mirror stating, “Objects in mirror are close than they appear”. He further commented that the image is not a troll and was specially commissioned to him.

Judging by the further discussion, it seems that the picture actually correlates to an earlier reveal, and if that is in “less-than-a-month-period,” it somewhat overlaps with this year’s E3, June 12 – June 15, 2021. But again, we’ll have to see if the developers will take an independent approach or jump on the E3 ride.

Elden Ring is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is a collaborative effort between game director Hidetaka Miyazaki and fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin and is scheduled for release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
