Incursion Red River Update #4 Will Add Convoys, Airdrops and Medical Changes on November 4
Creator access will open October 29, ahead of a November 4 release that also includes map-specific traders, a secure container and five story missions.

Incursion Red River’s Update #4 will release November 4, while creator access is scheduled to open October 29 as testing continues. The update previews convoys, guarded airdrops, map-specific traders and a paid secure container, alongside a reworked injury system and five story missions. Development Update #13 details the changes.
Creators seeking early access can apply through the creator program form. A discounted bundle also pairs Incursion Red River with GTFO, bringing together two indie co-op games.

Convoys and airdrops create new raid targets
Enemy convoys will travel across maps during raids with infantry escorts. Players can fight them directly or use a laser rangefinder to call an airstrike, with the observer explaining how. If escorts spot a player, the convoy stops and they break away to hunt. Once things settle, they regroup and resume their route. Taking out the lead truck blocks the road for the rest of the column.
At night on Delta, the Merchant and his guards escort especially valuable shipments in a tougher convoy encounter.
Airdrops will bring another fight to a raid. The observer warns players before a crate lands, and AI forces guard it. The crate disappears after a while, so players will need to move quickly. Alongside valuable loot, it contains a mission item that must be delivered to an in-raid trader for extra rewards.
Traders offer supplies and a way to protect loot
Each map will have a custom trader at a specific location. Traders stock basic items for hideout upgrades and repairs, with occasional rare upgrades and faction-specific loot. Players will need cash to make purchases.
A new Secure Container beside the traders gives players a way to protect a valuable find. After paying a fee, they can place an item inside and receive it in their inbox after the raid, even if they do not survive.
Bleeds and fractures change medical decisions
The new medical system divides bleeding into light and heavy levels. Light bleeding drains health slowly, while heavy bleeding does so much faster. A hard enough hit in the wrong place can worsen a light bleed into a heavy one.
Fractures add another risk. A hard hit to an arm or leg can break the bone and prevent sprinting. Painkillers restore the ability to run for a while, but a splint is needed to fix the fracture.
Interactions and NPCs get more character
Interactions will use character animations instead of relying only on a progress bar. Starting an operation or placing a bomb will show the character performing the action, making those exposed seconds visible to teammates as well.
Handler voice lines by Jane Perry will react to a player’s first visit to a location, the start of a raid, and the arrival of a convoy or airdrop. NPCs and traders will also have new facial hair and clothing made for individual characters.

Update #4 will also add five story missions, with three main missions and two side missions taking players to Outskirts and beyond.
