Hunt: Showdown 1896’s Blood Testament Roadmap Teases Chupacabra, a New Monster and More Ahead of Sept. 8
The roadmap also points to a Community Event, a new Battle Pass, a Halloween Event, two new Tarot Cards and a new Tool.

Hunt: Showdown 1896’s new Blood Testament roadmap points to a busy run of content around the upcoming event, including Chupacabra, another new monster, a Community Event and a new Battle Pass. Blood Testament is still scheduled to begin on Sept. 8, so these plans are a preview rather than a completed rollout.
After the event’s Sept. 8 start date was confirmed, Crytek’s new Steam roadmap announcement added a broader view of what is planned at launch and beyond.

What the Blood Testament roadmap includes
Roadmap entries call out Blood Moon, Chupacabra and New Monster alongside a Community Event. Further tiles show a new Battle Pass, a Halloween Event, two new Tarot Cards and a new Tool.
Crytek also points players back to the Update 2.9 Developer Livestream for context on Chapter 1 of Blood Testament. The roadmap notice does not assign dates to each item or explain how every piece of content will work, leaving the event’s opening chapter as only part of the broader plan.
Blood Testament remains scheduled for Sept. 8
Blood Testament will begin on Sept. 8, while the later roadmap entries will arrive on a schedule Crytek has not yet detailed. For now, Chupacabra, the new monster tease and the Halloween content give Hunters several threads to watch as the event approaches.
