GTA Online Random Transform Races Pay 3X, With a 6X Weekend Bonus Ahead
Three Known Unknown events cycle through vehicles such as Blazer ATVs, Manchez Scout motorcycles, and Phantom tractor trucks, while Drift Races and Auto Shop Robbery Contracts offer more rewards.
GTA Online is turning its weekly race rotation into a guessing game, with Random Transform Races offering 3X GTA$ and RP. Rockstar’s Newswire announcement also introduces five new races and confirms a special 6X weekend bonus for select events.
Three Known Unknown Races take place around the Redwood Lights Track, the Elysian Island docks, and the Grand Senora Desert. Each one uses a predetermined vehicle roster, but the order changes during the race. Drivers can find themselves switching between Blazer ATVs, Manchez Scout motorcycles, and even Phantom tractor trucks before every vehicle in the lineup has been used.
Two additional Unknown Unknown Races add another layer of chaos by mixing land, sea, and air vehicles. There is no comfortable rhythm to settle into here, so quick reactions will be just as important as raw speed.
A 6X weekend bonus will arrive on August 28
From August 28 through 30, select Drift and Transform Races will pay 6X GTA$ and RP. The limited weekend boost gives racers an even better reason to return once the regular 3X event has had time to cause a few spectacular pileups.
Three cars can now receive Drift Tuning
Drift fans also have three more vehicles to bring into the workshop. The Annis Elegy Retro and Invetero Coquette are Sports cars, while the Vapid Dominator GTT brings 3,500 pounds of Muscle to the lineup. All three are now eligible for Drift Tuning Upgrades.
Drift Races are offering Double Rewards throughout the week. Completing three of them fulfills the Weekly Challenge and adds GTA$100,000 to the payout. There is also a vehicle-specific reward for finishing a Drift Race in the Übermacht Cypher. Players who do so will receive its Glitch Camo drift livery within 72 hours.
Auto Shop contracts and vehicle discounts
Players who own an Auto Shop can take on Auto Shop Robbery Contracts for 2X GTA$, RP, and LS Car Meet Rep through September 2. The rotation also cuts the prices of these vehicles and toys by 30%:

- Annis ZR350 (Sports)
- RC Bandito (Off-Road)
- Karin Technical Aqua (Off-Road)

- Obey I-Wagen (SUV)
Gun Van inventory and discounts
The Gun Van is carrying a Military Rifle at 30% off, while GTA+ members can pick up the Precision Rifle at 40% off. The rest of the available inventory includes the Railgun, Grenade Launcher, Heavy Pistol, Crowbar, Pipe Bombs, Tear Gas, and Grenades.
