How to try the Hard Mode setup
- Start the first heist before the weekly reset. Complete it while it is set to Hard Mode.
- Start the next heist about 10 minutes later. The player says this timing follows completion of the first heist. Players who already know how to trigger Hard Mode can ignore this step.
- Complete Scope Out. The player says this part may be mandatory. Leaving the heist before completing Scope Out could reset the setup.
- Return after the weekly reset. Once the new weekly rotation begins, check the heist. The player claims it should still be in Hard Mode.
The method is not guaranteed
The timing is the important part of the tip: one Hard Mode completion before reset, a roughly 10-minute gap, and Scope Out completed on the follow-up heist. If the setup resets, players may need to repeat the process during the next weekly cycle.
