Grounded Patch 1.2.6 Addresses Memory Issues

Obsidian Entertainment, the developer of the survival game Grounded has released a new Patch titled 1.2.6. This new update brings significant improvements and bug fixes. If you’ve been putting off diving back into the backyard, now might be a good time to boot up and explore.

One of the most awaited fixes in this update addresses a pesky memory leak crash. Players might have noticed that the game tended to crash when paused. This was due to a memory leak, but with the new patch, this problem should be a thing of the past.

MAJOR FIXES

  • Fixed a memory leak crash that could happen while the game is paused.
  • Reduced memory usage on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S to reduce out of memory crashes.

BUG FIXES

  • Clients will no longer randomly have a very dark exterior or a very bright interior after respawning.
