Gray Zone Warfare’s 0.4.5.2 hotfix patches a rough helicopter death bug

MADFINGER Games said the update also fixes three server crashes, and players should restart Steam if the download does not show up right away.

MADFINGER Games pushed Hotfix 0.4.5.2 live for Gray Zone Warfare on July 2, 2026. If the download does not appear right away, the studio says to restart Steam so the update can start.

The patch is brief, but it closes out a rough bug tied to landing helicopter deaths and trims server instability with a few crash fixes. Players who still run into trouble can send a report through MADFINGER Games support.

Patch Notes – Hotfix 0.4.5.2

  • Fixed an issue where players killed by a landing helicopter could become stuck in a coma and, after restarting the game, lose their character appearance and secure container
