Gray Zone Warfare has received a new update, Patch 0.2.4.0, which is now live on the public branch. This patch tackles multiple issues highlighted by players. Your input confirmed that many of the fixes are working as intended while also shedding light on additional issues we’ll address in future updates.
Changelog:
Server Time Adjustment
- Server times are now offset in all regions. This means connecting to a different area will allow you to connect to a server with a different in-game time of day to help with time-limited tasks.
Crash fixes
- Fixed a crash caused by unplugging a microphone while no other audio input was connected to the player’s PC.
- Fixed a crash on the vendor trading screen.
- Fixed a crash caused by a particular chain of events – by removing critical weapon parts from a weapon that is currently equipped on a player in a coma and then using the weapon.
Bugs fixed
Gameplay
- We fixed an issue that made a player’s latest body unbootable if the player disconnected from the game after dying.
- Fixed a rare issue that allowed players revived from a coma to use an incomplete weapon (and cause a crash).
- Fixed two possible exploits that allowed the nesting of an infinite number of containers.
Repairs
- Fixed an issue causing players to be unable to toggle a tactical device on or off after repairing a weapon.
- Fixed a rare issue where players could not sell weapon parts after repairing a weapon.
- Removed the repair button from the item detail window of items without durability.
User Interface (UI)
- Fixed the latency calculation on the latency warning icon only to measure actual connection latency as intended.
- Fixed a rare issue causing players to be unable to attach a weapon part to a weapon by dragging it directly into a weapon slot.
Tech
The following fixes have been implemented:
-
- Fixed memory leak, which might result in excessive VRAM usage after re-entering game.
- Increased reconnection grace period to 10 minutes; players will now have more time reconnect before their character resets.
