IEM Cologne 2026 now has its final matchup, with FURIA and Team Falcons meeting in a best-of-five on Sunday, June 21. Coverage will begin with the opening ceremony at 16:45 CEST (10:45 a.m. EDT).
The road to the final was anything but clean. FURIA lost the opening map of the playoffs, then stayed alive with a 2-1 comeback over 9z Team in the quarterfinals before shutting out Aurora Gaming 2-0 in the semifinals. Falcons had their own heavy lift. They knocked out the world’s No. 1 team, Team Vitality, 2-1 in the quarterfinals, then beat Team Spirit 2-1 in the semifinals after needing overtime on the third map. That result gives Falcons their first Major Championship appearance.
Team and player stickers are still available while the event wraps up, and 50% of tournament item sales are being split between the organizer, teams, and players.
