Forza Horizon 6’s August 13 Playlist Puts a 525-HP Kit Car Within Reach

Forza Horizon 6 features a very small, very wild racer in its August 13 Festival Playlist. The 2018 Exomotive Exocet Sport V8 XP-5 is the Summer season’s 20-point prize, and the latest official Steam announcement places it in the Horizon Mascot Party celebration.

Built around a Miata chassis, the Exocet weighs 1,696 pounds and packs a 6.2-liter V8. Its 525 horsepower goes straight to the rear wheels, giving this stripped-down kit car a serious power-to-weight setup for Horizon Japan’s Time Attack circuits. Comfort clearly was not part of the plan either, since the car does not have a windshield.

Players can unlock the Exocet by earning 20 Festival Playlist points during the Summer season. The current challenge window runs from August 13 through August 20, giving drivers a week to add the track-day machine to their garage.

Mascot Party playlist rewards

The Exocet is part of a larger reward track filled with compact and characterful cars. The series milestones include the following:

80 points: 1970 Honda N600
160 points: 1967 Renault 8 Gordini

Within the Summer season, reaching 40 points awards the 1969 Datsun 2000. The 1970 Honda N600 is also available at 80 points across the full series, with the announcement stating that players can unlock it through September 10.

There are a couple of extra Japanese-themed objectives to tackle as well. Completing a Delivery Shift in Tokyo unlocks the 2017 Toyota JPN Taxi, while finishing the Small but Mighty Seasonal Championship with an electric domestic vehicle earns the 1970 Honda S800.
