Fortnite Season 9 Week 8 Secret Battle Star replaced by Fortbyte #97 [Updated]

So, having the Loading Screen for Week 8 of Season 9 at our disposal, we have a job to do and designate the exact location of the secret Battle Star. As in each previous week, after completing the set of challenges given for that particular week, locating the Secret Battle Star / Banner / Fortbyte is a must. However, there’s something fishy going on, and that is the loading screen itself, which is undoubtedly missing a piece of strong evidence.

[Update]

As we have discovered, the Secret Battle star for Week 8 has been replaced by Fortbyte #97. Others have already discovered its location, and that is Lucky Landing. But, in which building exactly is it hidden? Gattu, a famous Fortnite content creator has already pinpointed its location, and he confirms to be a substitute for this week’s secret Battle Star.

During the previous weeks, we’ve also encountered similar replacement and is an even week, the replacement surely holds waters. Therefore, we’ll have to look for a Fortbyte instead of a Secret Battle Star, which will unveil yet another piece of the image hiding behind the corrupted data.

Below you can take a look of the exact house in Lucky Landing in which the Fortbyte #97 is hidden. It is the dumpling building, which has the dumpling rotating ad at the top of it.

For more precise info, you’ll have to delve deeper into the building and find the gym floor. To know where exactly the Fortbyte is located in that area, take a look at the picture below:

Gattu has also published a video proof of the Fortbyte #97, which can be found below:

With that being said, let’s take a look at the Loading Screen for Week 8 below, which is probably the most confusing one so far.

So, where exactly is the Secret Battle Star here? Believe us, we’ve tried numerous ways to decrypt the loading screen, including tweaking the color balance and temperature, playing with RGBCMYK to the maximum, but sadly, nothing stands out. Therefore, we genuinely believe that this loading screen may not be a part of Week 8. Despite the fact the leak was confirming it is the right image, we may be fooled, and there may not be a secret Battle Star for this week, but instead just a Fortbyte.

Knowing that this was the bunker in which Peely and Jonesy were hiding throughout the catastrophic segment, even more, catastrophic that Peely was served as a food to save Jonesy, it may be a part of the Fortbyte #100, which location was hinted by exactly the image above. Overall, this is catastrophic for all the players as well, but if we ram ourselves into a fresh discovery about this matter, we’ll be sure to update this article as soon as possible.

For now, we’ll have to leave it on that, as there’s no firm confirmation of a Secret Battle Star / Banner / Fortbyte for Week 8.
