For Honor will begin its Year 10 Season 3, Blood Hunt, on September 10, bringing Ranked Dominion, a new Conqueror Hero Skin, two seasonal progression tracks, and a run of Halloween content. Ubisoft’s Warrior’s Den recap also outlines planned balance work and a new competitive tournament cycle.
Blood Hunt follows the Keeper of Chains as he hunts a powerful target for Guljin. Once imprisoned, the warrior became Guljin’s jailer and emissary, traveling through Ashfeld and its forests to capture enemies for her arena.
Ranked Dominion expands For Honor’s competitive mode
Dominion will join Duel in the Ranked playlist, giving players two modes to use in a renewed competitive system. Ranks will run from Bronze through Grandmaster, with rewards beginning at Gold and continuing through the highest tiers.

- Gold An armor set for Warden, exclusive to Ranked Dominion and Duel.
- Platinum An exclusive ornament.
- Diamond Another ornament and a unique weapon set for the season’s designated hero.
- Masters A more detailed ornament.
- Grandmaster The top 100 players who remain on the Grandmaster leaderboard until the competitive season ends will receive the Grandmaster reward. Players who fall back to Masters before then will not receive it.
Ubisoft also plans to strengthen player safety through additional anti-cheat and toxicity measures. The system is intended to give Ranked Dominion and Duel a clearer progression path while rewarding players who remain at the top until the season concludes.
The Keeper of Chains leads the season’s customization
The new Conqueror Hero Skin, The Keeper of Chains, is built around a former prisoner who now serves Guljin. Its design includes rusted armor, fireflies trapped in the flail and back pieces, and several customization options.

Blood Hunt’s new Battle Pass follows the skin and its forest journey. Ubisoft’s Y10S3 Battle Pass and Legacy Pass breakdown confirms that the track contains 100 tiers for all 39 heroes, with weapons and effects for every hero alongside outfits, 12.5K steel, and other seasonal rewards.

Named rewards include the Grim Maiden and Grim Wyvern Effects, the Grim Fate and Grim Monstrosity Battle Outfits, the Jock o’Smasher Execution, and the Light the Way traversal Emote. The new Battle Pass is available only during Y10S3, so its outfits, weapons, effects, and other rewards will not remain on the track permanently after the season ends.
The Y6S3 Legacy Pass returns older rewards
The Legacy Pass revisits the Yokai-themed Year 6 Season 3 Battle Pass with 100 returning tiers for all heroes. Its reward pool includes weapons and effects from that earlier pass, as well as the Demonic Disco and Demonic Prairie Battle Outfits, the Card of Absolution Execution, and the Dark Spectres Signature.

A special tier 101 will add content for heroes released after Y6S3. Players who already own the Y6S3 Battle Pass can resume their previous progress without purchasing the Legacy Pass, while players who left the track unfinished or never claimed it get another chance to collect its rewards. The Legacy Pass is also limited to Y10S3.
The season’s Battle Bundle includes both passes, the Yokai Slayer Meiko Hero Skin for Kensei, 25 unlocked tiers, and a 20% bonus to Battle Points and Event Pass Points earned from completed matches.
Halloween modes return in October
Two Halloween throwback modes will arrive during the season. Return of the Otherworld with Endless March will run from October 1 through October 15, followed by Fangs of the Otherworld with Spooky Slasher from October 15 through October 22.
Both modes use a 4v4 Dominion format with tougher soldiers replacing standard minions. Endless March uses skeletons, while Spooky Slasher features demonic pikemen. Teams will need to defeat these enemies, protect their zones, and push opponents into breaking. Each mode will also have its own leaderboard tracking the number of skeletons or pikemen defeated.
Weekly Hero Fests will feature Shaolin, Varangian Guard, and Lawbringer. Each event will offer a unique execution and extra XP for its featured hero. Samurai heroes will also receive armor variations with golden engravings, layered materials, and colorful patterns.
Balance changes and the Triple Threat Circuit
Ubisoft plans to publish the full balance notes when Blood Hunt launches. The early summary includes an update to Revenge decay, reworks for Arakure, Valkyrie, Tiandi, Khatun, Juren, Centurion, and Sohei, plus a fix for Pirate’s Pistol Blast.
The Triple Threat Circuit will return with a 1v1 tournament before the year ends with another 4v4 Dominion tournament. Players can follow registration through the official tournament registration page. Open and closed qualifiers will be broadcast through the Discord dojo Twitch channel, while the series final will appear on the ForHonorGame Twitch channel.
