Farming Simulator 25’s Catuaí Preview Details Rainy Seasons, Wildlife and Hidden Finds
The Brazil-inspired map includes a village production network, a research station, and a museum where players can rebuild a dinosaur skeleton before the expansion arrives Oct. 27.

Farming Simulator 25’s Catuaí map trades snowy winter scenery for dry and rainy seasons, with red soil, rolling hills, and a winding river defining the Brazil-inspired region. Giants Software’s final map preview also shows how farms, production sites, and a lively village connect ahead of the expansion’s Oct. 27 launch.
The Beans & Alpacas expansion will pair Catuaí with coffee and alpaca farming, plus a dinosaur-bone hunt.

Red soil and a river define Catuaí
Wooden bridges cross the river as it winds past farms and into the village. The region’s iron-rich red earth, known as terra roxa, stands out against coffee plantations on the hillsides and dense Atlantic rainforest. New trees, shrubs, and other details inspired by Brazil give the landscape its own character.
Roads feature high-resolution surfaces and details such as hexagonal paving stones around the village. The starter farm comes with a farmhouse and vehicles, while two gas stations serve the map, including a larger station in town.

Production sites and rainy-season changes
Catuaí’s village and surrounding area include a spinnery, logistics center, paper mill, oil refinery, animal dealer, and vehicle dealer. Coffee-processing facilities are spread across the map. A Paint Factory adds another production chain, turning dye and resin into paint, with several materials available for making the dye.
Instead of a snowy winter, Catuaí’s weather follows dry and rainy seasons. Rain leaves puddles on roads and concrete, darkens the red soil, and changes the look of asphalt. Building materials react differently, too, with porous brick absorbing moisture and metal surfaces taking on a reflective sheen.
Wildlife and landmarks to find
Parrots and caimans add life to the region’s roads and waterways, though the caimans won’t bite. Near the map’s edge, a research station built in a traditional style has displays about local plants, sugarcane, coffee, alpacas, and traditional instruments.
The town museum offers a dinosaur reconstruction project. Find bones around Catuaí to rebuild the skeleton displayed outside, and take the hiking paths for views across the countryside.
