Farming Simulator 25 is heading south for its next major expansion. Beans & Alpacas will introduce Catuaí, a new farming region inspired by Brazil, when it arrives on October 27. Giants Software announced the expansion in a Steam announcement.
The expansion and a separate Edition that includes the base game are both available for pre-order. Pricing details were not included in the announcement.
Catuaí brings rolling hills, red soil, humid vegetation, narrow roads, colorful rural buildings, and a winding river lined with stilt houses. The region also follows its own seasonal schedule because farms there are located in the southern hemisphere.

Coffee changes the farming calendar
Coffee is the expansion’s signature crop. Players will plant coffee beans beginning in September, then harvest the red coffee cherries in May. New production chains will turn crops and animal products into additional goods for sale.
Alpacas will join the animal roster, bringing fleece production to the farm. Players can shear them for fleece, process it into wool, and walk the animals on a leash to improve their happiness. Brahman cows will share the pastures, giving the new region an even broader livestock setup.

New buildings, collectibles, and equipment
Beans & Alpacas will add six houses with full interiors, along with dozens of placeables and decorations made for Catuaí. Players can also search beneath the soil for dinosaur bones and bring their finds to a Research Center after constructing it.
More than 25 machines from brands including Case IH, Ford, John Deere, KUHN, Mercedes-Benz Trucks, New Holland, Oxbo, Stara, and Valtra will be part of the expansion. Colombo Industries will make its series debut with equipment designed around the region’s crops and farm work.
The package will also bring new sugarcane foliage and effects, better-looking tool animations, and more detail during fieldwork. Giants Software said it will share more information about the expansion before its scheduled October 27 launch.
Catuaí gives Farming Simulator 25 a warmer setting and a very different rhythm, especially for players who enjoy planning around unusual crops. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, and Instagram.
