Euro Truck Simulator 2’s 1.61 Update Will Add Volvo FH Series 6 100 Year Edition Customization
The upcoming content includes two exterior paint jobs, anniversary light boxes, a custom interior, and exclusive cabin accessories.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 will add a special Volvo FH Series 6 package with the upcoming 1.61 update. The Volvo FH Series 6 100 Year Edition will bring new exterior and interior customization options to the game’s Aero XL cabin.
SCS Software detailed the addition in its Steam announcement, tying the in-game truck to Volvo Trucks’ anniversary plans. Volvo Group was established in 1927 and will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2027. SCS has not provided a release date for update 1.61.
Two anniversary paint jobs for the Volvo FH Series 6
The exterior portion of the package includes two paint jobs: 100y Edition – Night and 100y Edition – Day. Their designs use dark or light color striping, with Centennial logos placed along the truck’s exterior.
Drivers will also be able to choose between two light boxes. One carries the 100y logo, while the other features the FH16 logo, giving the anniversary truck a couple of ways to stand out on the road.
Aero XL cabin gets a new interior option
The update will also add one new interior option for the Aero XL cabin. It includes black leather door panels with special stitching, carpets, and a rear wall decoration carrying the 100 Year Edition logo.
Dashboard ambient LED lighting will be available in red or blue. The cabin can be finished with a black leather steering wheel and two-tone seats that combine a black leather base, a grey textile upper section, and the 100y logo.
SCS also included a video preview showing the Volvo FH Series 6 100 Year Edition in Euro Truck Simulator 2.
