Euro Truck Simulator 2’s Cruising Iceland Event Starts Nov. 10 With a 14-City Challenge
The event ends at 23:59 UTC on Jan. 3, 2027, and the personal goal is also required for the community reward.

Euro Truck Simulator 2’s Cruising Iceland event begins Tuesday, Nov. 10, with a personal challenge spanning all 14 Icelandic cities and a community goal of 175,000,000 kilometers. SCS Software’s Steam announcement sets the event’s end for Sunday, Jan. 3, 2027, at 23:59 UTC. The Iceland DLC is also scheduled to launch Nov. 10.
Event deliveries will take drivers around the Ring Road and past highlights such as Reykjavík and the Haukadalur geothermal area, where the Strokkur geyser erupts. Narrow one-lane bridges are part of the route, and cargo can range from fresh catch to geothermal equipment.
To complete the personal goal, drivers must make deliveries to or from each of Iceland’s 14 cities. Jobs must be at least 150 km long and use External Contracts or External Market with a World of Trucks-connected profile. Players can also choose External Market jobs when hauling their own trailer. Recent deliveries can be checked in the World of Trucks Log Book.

Completing the city challenge earns a World of Trucks Achievement and the Fire and Ice ETS2 paint job. The community reward is a Tröll hanging figurine, but players must first finish their personal goal, and the group must reach its 175,000,000-kilometer target. Both reward items go to the Euro Truck Simulator 2 Steam inventory. Once eligible, players can claim them from the Events page on their World of Trucks profile.
