Escape from Tarkov’s Lighthouse Rework Will Move Rogues to the Chalets

Update 1.1.5.0 will also add a BTR route, a UN checkpoint, new points of interest, and fewer landmines.

Escape from Tarkov’s Lighthouse map will receive a major layout change with update 1.1.5.0, moving Rogue forces away from the Water Treatment Plant and into the chalet area. The update will also add new cover, fresh points of interest, an underground route, and the map’s third BTR route.

The announcement does not include a release date for update 1.1.5.0, but it outlines a Lighthouse that should play very differently once the patch arrives.

Rogues will take over the chalet area

Rogues currently occupy the Water Treatment Plant, but the rework will move their base to the chalets. That change will open more of the industrial zone for looting and movement while turning the chalet area into a fortified Rogue position.

Observation posts staffed by Rogues will surround the chalets, creating a new defensive stronghold for players to approach. A makeshift UN checkpoint will also appear along the central section of the main road, giving players cover in a stretch that was previously exposed.

The change could also affect BEAR players working through the Our Own Land task, which requires 10 Rogue kills at Lighthouse with a GP-25 underbarrel grenade launcher.

New points of interest will spread across Lighthouse

Lighthouse will gain several smaller locations across the map, including Rogue caches, abandoned outposts, and additional observation posts. The rework will also add an underground route beneath the cliffs, giving players another way to move through the area.

Some PMC spawn points will receive new cliffs and vegetation as well. These changes are meant to separate early raid positions and give players more room to maneuver immediately after spawning.

A BTR route will connect the main road

Update 1.1.5.0 will make Lighthouse the third Escape from Tarkov location with a BTR route. The vehicle path will follow the main road, passing through the village and continuing toward the Water Treatment Plant.

Landmines will also be removed from the location, with two exceptions. Mines will remain where they restrict the playable area and where they block access to Lightkeeper’s peninsula.

USEC players will lose their Rogue advantage

The Rogue faction’s response to PMCs will change alongside the map layout. USEC players will no longer receive preferential treatment, and Rogues will fire on characters from both factions as soon as they are spotted.

The combination of new defenses, altered spawns, and a more aggressive Rogue response will give Lighthouse a very different opening rhythm. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram, Steam, and Telegram.
