Nikita and the team over at BSG have decided to release a new technical update that reduces the fog and haze density in Escape From Tarkov.
According to many, this change is awesome because it allows players to see targets more clearly and spot sneaky rats hiding in the shadows.

How do you get this update? It’s simple. Just launch the launcher, and the update should start downloading ASAP. If it doesn’t, restart it, and you should be ready.
From my experience, this update is heading the game in the right direction. It’s quite obvious that the community also wants this. This tweak shows that Battlestate Games is listening to the community and making adjustments that keep the game challenging without making it feel unfair.
