Escape from Tarkov’s Secured Perimeter Task May No Longer Require Office Kills

A screenshot shows the Factory objective asking players to eliminate PMC operatives, with progress recorded at 6/6.

Escape from Tarkov players may have an easier version of the Huntsman Path – Secured Perimeter task to deal with. A screenshot from the discussion shows the objective as eliminating PMC operatives on Factory, rather than requiring kills in the map’s office area.

[Discussion] Huntsman Path Secured Perimeter is no longer office kills!

Its objective only refers to PMC operatives on Factory, with no office requirement visible. That could make the task less restrictive for PvE players and remove the need for PvP players to repeatedly wait around the office area for targets.

Still, the screenshot does not confirm when the objective changed or whether the new wording applies to every player and mode. Battlestate Games has not been identified as the source of the change in the supplied material, so the task’s current behavior should be treated as something to verify in-game.

For now, players working on the task can check whether their own objective uses the broader Factory PMC requirement shown in the screenshot. If the wording is consistent across accounts, Secured Perimeter should be much less dependent on one busy section of the map.
