Escape from Tarkov Is Expected Back Online Between 8 and 10 a.m. EDT on August 3

Battlestate Games began the six- to eight-hour maintenance window for Update 1.1.0 at 2 a.m. EDT.

Escape from Tarkov is currently offline as Battlestate Games deploys Update 1.1.0, which introduces the game’s first official season, Kord Breach. The season is themed around the Black Division faction.

The maintenance affects both PvP and PvE players. Battlestate Games said the update process would take about six to eight hours, with deployment beginning at 7 a.m. BST / 2 a.m. EDT on August 3. That puts the expected return window between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. EDT, although the game may remain unavailable longer if the maintenance takes extra time.

Escape from Tarkov Update 1.1.0 Return Times

  • 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. BST
  • 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. EDT
  • 4 a.m. – 6 a.m. PDT
  • 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. CEST

These are estimates rather than a guaranteed reopening time. Escape from Tarkov maintenance windows can run longer than planned, and the previous 1.0.6.5 update also required a brief extension.

What Update 1.1.0 Adds

The main addition is Kord Breach, Escape from Tarkov’s first official season. The update is also expected to serve as the launch point for the game’s new seasonal structure, but Battlestate Games had not published the complete 1.1.0 patch notes at the time of the maintenance announcement.

That means the full list of weapon changes, progression adjustments, fixes, and other additions was not yet available in the source material. For now, the confirmed details are the seasonal launch and the maintenance window required to deploy the update.

Players can try reconnecting after the estimated window ends, but access may still be unavailable if Battlestate Games extends maintenance. Share your thoughts on Kord Breach and Update 1.1.0 in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram.
