Escape from Tarkov, the popular first-person shooter known for its realistic gameplay, has announced a new series of tests on their Experimental Test Server (ETS). This latest testing phase focuses on testing the reworked recoil system.
Battlestate Games revealed this initiative via their Twitter account. They noted that the primary aim of the recoil system overhaul is to achieve more realistic and user-friendly mechanics. This change is expected to bring a new level of depth and strategy to the game, enhancing the overall player experience.
In a recent tweet, Battlestate Games outlined their approach: “The main goal of the rework is to create more realistic and comfortable recoil mechanics with maximum configuration flexibility.” This flexibility will allow the developers to implement balance changes based on detailed analytics and direct feedback from players, ensuring a finely tuned experience.
Players with access to the ETS are invited to participate in this testing phase. The developers emphasize the importance of community feedback, encouraging participants to share their experiences and insights through the game’s Discord server and a unique feedback form available in the game launcher.
We are starting a new series of tests within the ETS server.
At this stage, we are offering to test the reworked recoil system. Other changes planned for patch 0.14 will become available for testing in the upcoming stages.#EscapefromTarkov pic.twitter.com/oyMg4hWNDf
