Escape From Tarkov “Gunsmith – OP-SKS” Quest Guide

Gunsmith – OP-SKS needs a suppressed OP-SKS with a 20-round magazine and enough sighting range for Mechanic's order. The TAPCO chassis gives you room to improve handling while retaining the dovetail optic setup.

• 60 Durability
• 35 or greater ergonomics
• 350 or less recoil
• 600 or greater sighting range
• 6 kg or less in weight
• A magazine with a capacity of at least 20
• A silencer

How to complete the build

Use the OP-SKS from Jaeger LL1 as the base. The example setup pairs the TAPCO chassis and 20-round magazine with a USP-1 optic and Hexagon suppressor.

Install the scope mount, optic and eyecup together. Once the attachments are in place, check ergonomics and total weight rather than assuming a parts list alone guarantees a valid hand-in.

Check the complete weapon in the inspection window before handing it over. The quest checkmark can be inconsistent even when a build qualifies, so a missing marker alone does not prove the weapon cannot be submitted.
