Enshrouded Hotfix 1.0.0.1 fixes several crash causes and locks the Fire Wisp scroll to level 27, ending its player-level damage scaling. Keen Games’ Steam changelog for Hotfix 1.0.0.1 lists build revision 1267041, an indoor brightness fix, and updated artbook and world map files for the Deluxe Upgrade Pack. The hotfix follows Enshrouded’s October 15 version 1.0 launch, which opened Cinder’s Cradle and added the Sparkworks creation tools.

One sound issue remains: reverb in large halls or rooms, along with gameplay audio lowering during lore voice-over, can misbehave when the master volume is below 100%. Keen recommends setting the in-game master slider to 100% and adjusting volume through Windows sound settings until the issue is fixed.

Note:

We are observing an issue with sound, specifically reverb in large halls or rooms and with the dynamically lowered gameplay sounds while lore voice-over is playing. The issue only appears when the master volume slider is lower than 100%. Until we have a fix, it is recommended to keep the master volume slider at 100% and regulate the volume in the Windows sound settings instead, if needed.
