Capturing Outposts is Prapor’s quest to eliminate 12 PMC operatives in total at the specified Scav bases on Customs, Woods, or Shoreline. All three locations share one counter, so you can finish at a single outpost or split your kills between them. On Shoreline, head to the Health Resort, not the pier.

Requirements
- Reach Prapor loyalty level 2 to access the quest. This is a trader loyalty requirement, not player level 2.
Objectives
- Eliminate 12 PMC operatives at the specified Scav bases on Customs, Shoreline, or Woods.
The target PMC must be inside the qualifying area when you eliminate them. You can shoot from outside that area; it is the target’s position that matters. Scav kills and PMC kills outside the designated areas do not count.
Rewards
- 10,000 EXP
- +0.25 Prapor reputation
- 165,000 Roubles, increased to 173,250 with Intelligence Center level 1 or 189,750 with level 2
Capturing Outposts Quest Guide
This is probably one of the most boring quests in Escape From Tarkov. Waiting for PMCs to enter the right area is still the frustrating part, but you no longer need separate sets of kills on all three maps. Pick the outpost that gives you the best opportunities and work toward the shared 12-kill counter.
- Accept Capturing Outposts from Prapor once you meet the trader loyalty requirement.
- Choose the Fortress on Customs, the former EMERCOM medical camp on Woods, or the Health Resort on Shoreline.
- Eliminate PMC operatives inside the qualifying area. Check the quest counter after an elimination rather than assuming a kill nearby has counted.
- Continue until the counter reaches 12/12, then complete the quest with Prapor. You do not need 12 kills on each map.

Customs: Stronghold / Fortress
Head to the large fortified construction-site building commonly called Stronghold or Fortress. The enemy PMC needs to be inside the quest’s qualifying area; simply fighting elsewhere in the construction area is not enough.
Woods: EMERCOM Medical Camp
The Woods outpost is the former EMERCOM medical camp, also called the Scav base or military camp. This contributes to the same counter as Customs and Shoreline.
Shoreline: Health Resort
Look for PMCs in the qualifying Health Resort area. Do not wait at the pier for this quest: the pier belongs to the older version of Capturing Outposts, not the current objective.

Hey there, warrior. Listen, I have a mission for you. The other day I was informed that PMCs have captured several Scav bases in the region, and they say there are tons of goods there. Can you help the old soldier? Kill those PMCs so that my dogs could grab the loot without any issues. There are three bases in total: the big fortified building on the construction site on Customs, the former EMERCOM medical unit on Woods, and the river pier on Shoreline. Clear the places out and let me know when it’s done.
