EA SPORTS FC 27’s PC team is investigating stuttering, input delay, and frame-rate instability, while several PC-specific fixes are targeted for a late October update. The developers outlined their work in the PC Developer Launch Notes on Steam. EA had also planned a PC-focused deep dive for September, a commitment outlined when it detailed its FC 27 feedback process.
Players have reported frame-rate drops and micro-stutters, along with instability during cutscenes and stadium sequences, particularly around set pieces. A smaller number of players have also run into frame-rate drops, loading problems, or getting stuck in The Grounds hub.
PC performance issues remain under investigation
EA is looking into performance degradation when Cloth Quality is set to Medium and Frame Rate Limit settings failing to apply correctly after a monitor change. Other performance reports are still being investigated across a range of PC hardware.
A number of crash fixes are already included in Title Update v.1.0.1. EA says it will keep prioritizing the most frequently reported crashes and address them in upcoming updates.
Four PC improvements are targeted for late October
EA is targeting the following PC-specific quality improvements for a late October update:
- Additional camera tuning for mouse controls.
- A fix for mouse controls becoming unresponsive in “Be a Goalie” when the goalkeeper moves outside the box.
- A fix for persistent vibration affecting Xbox Elite Series controllers.
- A fix for flashing during the FUT match intro loading screen.
