EA SPORTS FC 27 FUT Coin Balances Are Up More Than 10% Year Over Year
PvE Live Events rank third among FUT experiences, and Streamlined SBCs reached the Companion App on September 28.
FUT Coin balances in EA SPORTS FC 27 are more than 10% higher than at the same point last year, and more Starting XI players are being picked up on the Transfer Market. EA also says PvE Live Events are the third most-played FUT experience, behind Rivals and Squad Battles, in its first FUT Developer Notes.
EA called the figures an early sign that the more flexible reward structure is giving players greater choice in how they build their teams. The developer also reported strong interest in the Gallery, where players are chasing Set Grades and Hall of FUT items. EA says the Gallery gives more Player Items a reason to matter even when they are not in a squad, and plans to add Sets and refresh the Token Store. The collection features build on the Gallery systems outlined before launch.
Evolutions and the broader pace of squad progression remain a focus for EA. The team is weighing how Evolutions, SBCs, mode rewards, and Campaigns work alongside one another, but the update did not detail a specific change to those systems. Players have also praised Streamlined SBCs for reducing friction, while asking for better ways to mark or favorite items they want to keep. EA says it expects to keep improving the feature based on feedback.
Streamlined SBCs became available in the Companion App on September 28, 2026. EA had previously planned to bring them to the app later in Season 1, after they arrived on PC and console at launch, according to the earlier FC 27 launch plan for Streamlined SBCs.
EA is also watching how increased end-of-match rewards feel as players reach daily limits and weekly milestones. The goal, the developer says, is for matches to keep moving a Club forward after players hit a major reward threshold. More ways to reward matches are planned for later this year, and EA intends to add capabilities to PvE Live Events during the opening Seasons.
The update continues the more focused approach to Store offers and smaller Campaign squads that EA described in its official launch notes. Destined for Glory is another opportunity for EA to see how smaller Campaign squads land and whether new Player Items stay useful without making existing Club items feel outdated too quickly.
More than 150,000 players have linked their EA Accounts with partner sites such as FUT.GG, FUTBIN, and FUTWIZ. EA is working to make more FUT data available through those integrations, which it says are already helping some players plan and manage their Clubs.
EA also plans to host a FUT-specific Q&A in the official EA SPORTS FC Discord, but has not announced a date or time. Players can continue sharing feedback through the FC 27 Player Feedback Portal.
