EA Sports FC 27 Beta Footage Appears Online With a MyCareer Hint
The beta clips show The Grounds, Chloe Kelly introducing Kickabouts, cosmetic rewards, and 1v1 sessions.
An apparent EA Sports FC 27 beta leak has put two gameplay videos on YouTube, offering an early look at The Grounds, the game’s social football space. The person behind the uploads reportedly had access to the beta, although the post does not identify the uploader.
The footage was shared in a Reddit post in r/GamingLeaksAndRumours. Its short description compares the apparent gameplay direction with 2K’s MyCareer, but the clips themselves appear to focus on The Grounds rather than confirming a specific career mode.

EA had previously introduced The Grounds through an earlier feature video, presenting it as a place where players can meet friends, play small-sided football, and interact with iconic footballers. Across the two leaked uploads, which run for more than 10 minutes combined, the beta footage shows exploration, activities, rewards, cosmetics, and multiplayer sessions in the space.
Chloe Kelly introduces Kickabouts
The shorter clip lasts about two minutes and follows a player around several parts of The Grounds before a cutscene with Chloe Kelly. During the scene, Kelly introduces Kickabouts, an activity that mixes football with other games, including dodgeball, basketball, and bocce ball.
The footage also displays objectives players can work toward in the space. These include Mentors, Live Events, Club Live Events, Club Milestones, and Closed Beta Objectives. Completing them rewards players with The Grounds currency.
The Grounds Store and 1v1 sessions appear in the longer clip
The second video runs for roughly nine minutes and begins at the Clubhouse, where the player browses The Grounds Store. Available customization categories include Tops, Bottoms, Boots, Outfits, Tattoos, Hair, Facial Hair, Facial Accessories, Arm Sleeves, Archetype Card Backgrounds, and Emotes.
More activities appear as the footage continues. Players can summon a ball and kick it at a floating target in the world, while a map offers another look at how the area is arranged. The beta layout appears similar to the one EA had previously shown.
The clip ends with two players joining a 1v1 session from The Grounds, showing how EA’s social space can support quick multiplayer activities alongside more structured Club play.
The leak arrives after EA’s July 29 gameplay deep dive, which focused on manual defending and smarter attacking movement. The Grounds footage covers a different part of FC 27, but the post does not confirm how closely the apparent MyCareer influence connects to the game’s final design.
