EA Access Slowly But Surely Heading to Steam

EA’s notorious membership program will be available to order through a completely different platform. Electronic Arts have just announced that EA Access combines forces with Steam. EA Access and its known membership offers will allow players to become members and play their favorite EA games on Steam.

The subscription-based video game service will become available throughout the next spring, as previously stated. With a vast catalog of video games, this partnership may revive the glorious history between EA and Valve.

Unlike Origin Access and its vast catalog of games, EA Access is supposed to be comparable to EA’s console subscription services. Will there be flagship titles to be carried on the Steam platform available behind a membership? Most likely, but we’ll have to wait and see which titles are going to become part of the image.

Electronic Arts and Valve have partnered to put EA games into the hands of the players on Steam. Starting next spring, EA Access—our ever-growing subscription service powered by great games and member benefits—will be making its way to Steam. EA Access is the first and only gaming subscription service available on Steam, and the fourth platform featuring an EA subscription.

With the trust that Steam managed to gain over the past, including the launcher performance and its features with the capability of gathering gamers in one place, Electronic Arts have probably made the best move ever. Since the addition of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, EA has been feeding Steam with titles from its rows.

EA Access is here to endorse the already existing entertainment provided by Steam as a digital reseller, but also make a buck for a greater tomorrow.
