Dying Light: The Beast Week 2 Starts Another 50 Million-Kill Community Hunt
Players will choose between mid-air attacks and decapitations, with the community's preferred approach determining the weekend modifiers.

Dying Light: The Beast has entered Week 2 of Call of the Beast: Anniversary Edition, sending players back into the same community-wide fight in Castor Woods. The target is another 50 million enemies, and every takedown contributes to the shared total. The first round began on September 21 with a 50,000,000-kill goal and a vote between Slashing and Blunt modifiers, detailed in the Week 1 event breakdown.
Techland’s Steam announcement gives this week’s event a new combat choice. Players can prioritize hitting enemies in mid-air or focus on cutting off heads. The community’s preferred approach will determine which modifiers are active during the weekend.
Week 1 ended with Slashing as the selected modifier, guaranteeing dismemberments while bringing more gun-wielding enemies into encounters, as covered in the Week 1 modifier result. The second round keeps the shared kill goal but asks players to pursue a different combat focus before the next weekend begins.
