Funcom has pushed the Public Test Client update 1.2.30.0 for Dune: Awakening on PC, and it leans hard into quality of life for logistics and a couple of combat tweaks players will notice right away. This follows recent Public Test Client work, including the 1.2.20.0 update that added a base backup tool for Hagga Basin and other utilities for builders and raiders alike.
Highlights from 1.2.30.0:
- New item – Carrier Ornithopter Cargo Container. A plastanium-tier vehicle object craftable from the vehicle category in the tech menu. It can be placed in the world as a vehicle and holds up to 150 slots and 15000 in volume. This is the sort of thing that will change how groups move bulk materials across Arrakis.
- Observer building set pieces now purchasable. The Observer decor pieces are available from the building decor vendor in Arrakeen and Harko Village for 2500 Solaris each, so cosmetic options for base builders just expanded.
- Stun recovery gets smarter. Dashing out of stun no longer always defaults to backwards, and now responds to the input direction players are holding when they dash.
- Activating Prescience clears existing poison and poison stacks. That will matter in fights where survivability hinges on timing a defensive ability.
