Dune: Awakening looks back on its first year and points to September 22

Funcom used the game's first-anniversary update to revisit its biggest changes so far and confirmed that the console release is planned for September 22.

Funcom marked Dune: Awakening‘s first year by looking back at the updates that have shaped the game and by pointing players toward what comes next. The Steam notice framed the message as both a recap of the last 12 months and a preview of a later 2026 milestone.

That next milestone is the console release, which Funcom said will arrive on September 22. The studio also pointed readers to its official blog post on the console date and single-player plans for more details.

Funcom kept the Steam message short, but the timing says plenty. The game has reached a one-year mark on PC, and the studio is now steering attention toward the console launch and the next round of content.
