InZoi is currently in Early Access, which means many gameplay features are still being developed and polished. Among these features, the driving mechanic is one of the most compelling elements. Below, I’ll explain how to get a car and hit the road in this intriguing title.
How to get a car in InZoi
To start your driving experience, you must buy a car using the Dream Car app available on your phone within the game. This app offers seven cars for purchase: four generic models from InZoi and three Hyundais. After your purchase, your new ride will be parked outside your home—it’s time to take it for a spin!
How to drive in InZoi
Once you have your car, you can select the “drive” option when choosing a destination on your city map. Your Zoi character will walk out onto the street and conjure up their vehicle with a remote before driving off. If you want an enjoyable ride experience, hitting Tab while inside gives you access to first-person view through “shoulder view.”
If manual control sounds appealing, enable that option from the settings menu under gameplay features! Then click on your Zoi character, select “car,” and choose “Get in the car (manual driving).” Once inside, enjoy third-person or switch views by pressing Tab. There’s no need to stress about traffic laws or damage, if you bump into another driver, prepare for some good-natured yelling about who’s at fault!
Currently, driving is more of an extra feature rather than a necessity. Taking public transport or walking around town often proves faster than cruising behind wheels. The manual function adds some fun but lacks functional benefits right now. Plus, only the oldest member of each family can buy or use vehicles — with just one allowed per family at any time — so keep that limitation in mind when deciding if it’s worth taking out for an adventure!
