Diablo IV Could Reach Switch 2 on September 15 With the $69.99 Age of Hatred Collection

Diablo IV could reach Nintendo Switch 2 on September 15, 2026, with the reported launch package priced at $69.99. Details from Billbil-kun, published through a Dealabs report, identify the package as the Age of Hatred Collection.

A Taiwanese rating submission reportedly lists Diablo IV for Nintendo’s newer console. The submitted version includes the Lord of Hatred expansion, while the accompanying details suggest that Vessel of Hatred could also be included. A rating submission adds another signal that the port may be on the way, but it does not confirm a release date or final package. Blizzard Entertainment has not officially announced the Switch 2 version.

Two September dates remain unconfirmed

The reported launch window previously pointed to either September 15 or September 18, 2026, with September 15 described as the stronger possibility. No official announcement date is attached to those details, so both dates remain unconfirmed.

BlizzCon 2026 is scheduled for September 12 and 13. If September 15 holds, Diablo IV would arrive immediately after the event, making BlizzCon a natural setting for an announcement. That possibility has not been confirmed by Blizzard or Nintendo.

The reported Age of Hatred Collection

The collection would reportedly be available in both physical and digital editions. Its physical version would be a code-in-a-box release, with no cartridge or Game-Key Card included. Alongside the base game, it would include the Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred expansions.

Regional pricing is listed at €69.99, $69.99, and £62.99. Preorders are reportedly scheduled to begin on September 12, 2026, three days before the proposed launch, which is also the first day of BlizzCon.

Rod Fergusson previously pointed to Nintendo’s Diablo library

Blizzard has discussed Nintendo as a possible opportunity before. During an April 21, 2025, Gamertag Radio interview, Rod Fergusson, who was then general manager of the Diablo franchise, pointed to the series’ existing presence on Switch.

“I think there’s opportunity there for sure. I mean, we have Diablo 3 and Diablo 2 Resurrected already on the Switch, and with backwards compatibility it’ll be playable on Switch 2,” Fergusson said.

If the reported release goes ahead, Diablo IV would arrive more than three years after its original 2023 launch. It would also mark the game’s first release on a Nintendo platform, although the launch date, price, edition details, and included expansions remain unconfirmed.
