One quest connects directly to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. Clampdown takes place before the anime’s events and follows the last job of Weak Kingsley’s team. CD Projekt Red said during its Oct. 21 REDstreams presentation that members of the show’s team helped develop the quest, which also features voice actors from the series. The studio kept its story details under wraps.
HKGN 102.0 FM brings 16 tracks from both seasons of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners to Night City. A second quest, Welcome to Paradise, takes V on a Richard Night-narrated tour of the city, where mysterious events unfold along the way.
Mod.io adds an in-game menu for browsing and installing a selection of player-created mods. The feature is available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S, with more mods planned to become available over time. During REDstreams, associate game director Paweł Sasko confirmed that the menu will include adult mods.
Combat changes center on the Double Trouble perk in the Cool tree. It lets V dual-wield Power-category pistols and revolvers, but not shotguns or sniper rifles. Bonuses that work on each weapon independently carry over to the paired weapons. CD Projekt Red did not detail the downside during the presentation.
Cyberware customization will offer 40 new looks through five Glamdocs. The characters have their own styles, with new motion capture and voice work. The changelog also details their individual shops, introductory scenes, animations, and catalogs of cyberware skins with customizable colors.
