Crimson Desert hotfix 1.03.01 fixes Nature’s Snare, loot storage, and an Xbox controller issue
Pearl Abyss pushed out version 1.03.01 for PC right away, while the Mac build remains in progress and the patch also includes a few targeted bug fixes for Xbox players.

Pearl Abyss has released Crimson Desert version 1.03.01, a small hotfix focused on combat and loot bugs rather than broader balance changes. The update is available now on Steam for PC, while the Steam for Mac build is still listed as in progress.
Patch Notes Version 1.03.01
The main fixes in this hotfix center on Nature’s Snare and post-liberation loot handling. Xbox players also get a controller-specific fix for the same skill, which should help if the wireless input issue was getting in the way.
Update Schedule
Steam (PC): Patch available now
Steam (Mac): Patch available at a later time (in-progress)
Patch Notes Version 1.03.01
- Fixed an issue where projectiles ricochet away or disappear when using the skill Nature’s Snare.
- [Xbox] Fixed an issue where Nature’s Snare sometimes could not be used when using a wireless controller.
- Fixed an issue where under certain conditions, after liberation, loot sometimes did not get stored in the Private Storage.
For players who want to keep tabs on what the studio is still tracking, Pearl Abyss pointed to its Crimson Desert Known Issues page. The studio also linked its FAQ and Report an Issue page for players who run into trouble.
That keeps version 1.03.01 firmly in the maintenance category, but it still cleans up a few annoying problems for anyone spending time in Pywel. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram.
